Nice day

Yesterday and today seems not much different. We get on with our homeschool routine and manage to do not so much and not so little. Quran reading as usual. S on islamic history about anbiya and prophet which she did bit by bit every day/. It's a simple lesson and comprehension to answer to ensure the child understand the story.

All kids had Maths and Comprehension from mindsprinting as usual. PS now on grade 8th ( it's follow US curriculum) of her comprehension and still on decimal and fraction on Maths topic. She also had lots of English worksheet I print out from several website I got on my list.

MS had done the same. For today maths he now moved to another chapter but still on multiplication. But did with 2 numbers and will have with three number soon and after 7 times 4 pages each set, he will than moved to another topic which I don't know what until he did the test. He also did Geography and finish it today as we were rushing today as three of the big one got children club in the library. He did revision about water cycle and also understanding more about United Kingdom Geography. Will see what the next topic will be. HE also did science today. It's about material with CGP workbook. need to set up some experiement for science according to the topic he been learning. Probably get PS to conduct the experiment.

S also finish her topic on estimating and rounding today on minsprinting. Now moved to measument which I had to miss 3 worksheet as it's all about measurement in oz, cup and pint. She will go straight on learning time which she did leanr a bit before and need to learn properly this time. She also on grade 5th on comprehension. She finish 4th grade reading excellent which the highest in the subject. I'm also print some worksheet today about adjective and she also do spelling today. She also did some worksheet about measurement in cm.

AS had manage to understand numbers of hundred thousand, ten thousand and lower down. He be able to write them and recognise the number and where to put coma between zero. Alhamdulillah. It's quiet hard for her as it actually design for 2nd grade (US curriculum). But he's only going to be 6 years old next month. The curriculum base on the test that he took before the program start. He had improve so much and lots in reading. Also he's actually on 3rd grade reading excellent which contain reading, fill in words in between sentence, recognising rythm, all early sound such as pr, br, sh, and etc. Also comprehension for his 3rd level. Very satifying system., It just work on it's own with a bit of encouragement and motivation.

So, overall, we did good in our homeschool. Everyday is learning and improving. I have more confident than ever. Happy, so to say, seeing all this progress. I really can't wait to see more improvement and learning. It's amazing! There's more for me and them to learn, Insya Allah.

I'm also feel more relax now. Be able to cover such lots of subject and area and manage 4 of them at the same time had totally give me confident and relax my mind a lots. Alhamdulillah.
